Whether you’re sizing up your next Atelier Performance Cruiser or testing the flex on our Boardshorts, we’ve got your back with a returns process that’s as smooth as glassy offshore conditions.
Our Return Promise
We stand behind our performance-proven surf gear with the same confidence we have in our Hypto Krypto designs. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll make it right—no wipeouts.
⚠️ Important Return Guidelines
- Return Window: 15 days from delivery date
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with tags attached
- Proof of Purchase: Original receipt or order confirmation required
- Return Shipping: Customer responsible for return shipping costs
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
Just like you can’t return a wave you’ve already ridden, some items in our lineup can’t be returned once they’ve left our El Paso headquarters:
- FINS & HARDWARE: For hygiene and safety reasons, all fin systems and hardware components
- BOARDSHORTS AND SWIM: All swimwear and boardshorts for hygiene purposes
- OPENED HYPRO PACKAGES: Any surfboard accessories with opened packaging
- CUSTOM ORDERS: Special orders from our HS Signature or Cohort series
- SALE ITEMS: Products purchased from our HS Outlet section
🔄 The Return Process – Riding the Wave Back to Us
Initiate Your Return
Email our customer crew at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below to make sure you include all the necessary information.
Wait for Approval
Our team will review your request and send you a Return Authorization Number within 1-2 business days. Do not ship items back without this authorization.
Package and Ship
Securely package your items in the original box with all tags and packaging materials. Include a copy of your receipt and the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package.

💰 Refund Information
Refund Timeline
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect your return
- Bank Processing: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- Total Time: Typically 8-15 business days from when we receive your return
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, JCB – refunded to original card
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Want to swap for a different size or product? The process is similar to returns:
- Follow the return process above to send back your original item
- In your return request, specify what you’d like to exchange for
- If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
- If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
- We’ll ship your exchange item once we receive your return
